Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma gets award from Noida university

Meghalaya chief minister Conrad K Sangma was conferred with the Honorary Degree 'Honoris Causa' by the Sharda University, Noida on Thursday.

While receiving the award, Sangma stressed the need to shape young people to be responsible students and responsible citizens of the country.

Sangma also said that Meghalaya is working to ensure that every youth in the State is trained with one skill.

The Meghalaya chief minister was presented the degree and memento by Vice-Chancellor of the University, Sibaram Khara in the presence of Union education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank during the 4 th Convocation of the Sharda University.
