NorthEast United FC (NEUFC) will open its Indian Super League (ISL) campaign against Mumbai City FC on Saturday at the Tilak Maidan Stadium in Goa's Vasco.
The seventh season of the ISL 2020-21 kicked off on Friday with a clash between Kerala Blasters and ATK Mohun Bagan FC in the opening tie at the GMC Stadium in Bambolim in Goa.
NEUFC, which ended up in the ninth spot in the 2019-20 ISL, has brought 35-year-old Spanish coach Gerard Nus who has signed as many as 19 new players for the upcoming season.

With some of their crucial players from past seasons such as Redeem Tlang moving on, they have a new team in place for the ISL 2020-21 season.
